| PASTORAL CARE COMMITTEE TO ASSIST THE RECTOR |
A Pastoral Care committee has been formed to assist the Rector and Clergy make the many hospital, nursing home and in-home visits required each day. These people all have been trained and have received extensive instructions on caring for those in need. All emergencies, illnesses and pastoral care concerns must first be communicated to Fr. Bob and the office (during office hours) or Mary Lord. Priority and severity of need will be determined and action taken or delegated by Fr. Bob, Deacon Mary, Laura and Diane. Fr. Bob or the office is to be contacted first. After hours or if Fr. Bob is unavailable or unreachable, in emergencies contact Deacon Mary. If Deacon Mary is unavailable, contact Diane Zike. If Fr. Bob is unavailable or unreacable and a priest is needed, Deacon Mary and Diane will have a list of area clergy that can be called. Please adhere to this priority of contacts. Individual Pastoral Care Committee members will be available only on instructions from the clergy. Please do not contact committee members directly. Organization and assignment is what will make this committee most effective. |
