Opportunities for Service Within the Parish
Parish Life Committee – The Parish Life Committee
arranges for the Lenten Soup Suppers, Pot Luck
Suppers, the Annual Parish Picnic, the St. Peter’s Day
celebration and Talent Show , the Ice Cream Social and
other parish events.  One of the purposes of the P/L
Committee is to try to involve as many in the parish as
possible in church activities.
Adopt a Garden – Men, women, singles and families
help maintain our gardens.  Many have found this
service not only improves our outward appearance but
also have found this is a wonderful opportunity for
personal “God time.”
Kitchen Committee – Many important
functions include refreshments.  Men and
women help stock, clean, maintain and serve
foodstuffs at various parish functions and
other hospitality events.  We  take turns
providing snacks after our Sunday morning
services including a rotating coffee host.
Education Committee – A
diversified group of individuals work
with the Rector and Director of
Religious Education to develop and
initiate programs for all age levels of
people within the Parish.

Greet, Recruit, Outreach, Worship
(GROW)
– This is our evangelism
committee.  Its purpose is to
proclaim Jesus Christ as God and
Savior; to plan and implement
outreach programs to reach the
unchurched; to restore inactive
church-goers to the service of the
Lord; to provide physical and
spiritual assistance to individuals and
groups outside the Parish.
Parish Secretary – The secretary works from 9:
00 to 2:00 pm, Tuesday through Friday, handling
administrative duties as well as Peter's Pantry
during this time.

Vestry Representative – The vestry is
the governing body of the Parish.
These persons are elected by the
members who are communicants in
good standing at the Annual Meeting.
Vestry members are expected to
attend all church functions, determine
church policies, lead the congregation
to reach the Church’s objectives,
regularly attend worship and serve on
various committee’s as from time to
time directed by the Senior
Churchwarden with approval from the
Rector.
Building and Grounds
Maintenance
– A dedicated group
of men and women, young and
old, take great pride in maintaining
our physical plant.  New and
enthusiastic members are always
welcome.  This  requires a
sacrifice of time and talent
(stewardship) for  mowing or
painting or general repair and
maintenance.  Not only are you
giving your time and talent but
also share and receive fellowship
as well as the opportunity to make
or deepen relationships.
